Jayjaybeezes visits and SoCal Taco Fest

My baby brother came to visit and we tried the SoCal Taco Fest.  Held at Waterfront Park, multiple taco vendors offered hot and fresh tacos. We worked our way through Sonora Steak Asada, fried fish, birria and topped it off when Mexican street corn in a cup.  When we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, Jay felt compelled to try the grilled cheese taco.  I will say, this one was the absolute best.  From a company called Bread and Cheese Eatery, the concept of taco in a piece of highly buttered and toasted bread was a hit.  Is this worth it?  On the plus there are several vendors all in one place and not only is it a beautiful venue but live music is a hit.  On the negative side, it is pretty pricey to get in.  Would I go again?  For tacos, probably. It discover an amazing place like the Bread and Cheese Eatery, absolutely!

My brother told every person who asked that the Bread and Cheese Taco was the best so I think I need to put in a big plug for them, too. Owned by two friends, the ShoutOutSocial has a nice blurb about one of the co-owners, Justin Frank.  This really was one delicious taco…
