Craft and Taco Lounge (Escondido): Try the Escondido Coco Loco

I have been on the quest to try the perfect taco-Niki and I tried to get through as many as we could on the “17 Best Tacos in San Diego” list.  I have taken diversions for tacos-heading to the socal taco fest with my brother-and Sandy and I went to a place I had tried once before called Craft and Taco Lounge in Escondido.  While we tried several tacos and all were amazing, the Coco Loco is something really special. The main ingredient is a coconut shrimp but it has crab and scallop as well as a sweet and sour sauce with coconut flakes.  Yum.
