Perfectly Smoked Brisket

Today Ivan and I tried a local BBQ place.  Truth be told we are pretty picky.  We had access to some of the best in Portland and we have become huge fans of Grand Ol’ BBQ in North Park but I had heard of a more local place so we gave it a try.  So I say we are picky as we don’t like the sauce too sweet or the meet too smoked or the ribs too soft.  We were pleasantly surprised. All the sauce comes on the side and is not too sweet. The beans and coleslaw, too, both excellent and not too sweet.  I love brisket and their brisket was beautiful with an amazing smoke line.  You are making food food, Smokin J’s.  We’ll be back.
