Lunch of the day in Singapore: Muthu’s Fish Head Curry

So we had our first lunch today after hanging out in the Little Indian part of Singapore.  Ivan had a place he really liked from when he lived in Singapore called Muthu’s Curry.  Since he lived here, the place has expanded from a tiny little corner store to a large restaurant. They were also awarded the Michelin Star Bib Gourmand award this year (2018).   Muthu’s Curry’s signature dish is fish head curry. This comes in a small, medium or large version and we ordered the small. Small is enough, really, to feed a family of six and we were only three.  Plus, we felt compelled to also order lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka masala. lime juice/diet coke to drink, naan and pistachio kulfi for dessert.  To be really honest, I wish the fish head curry could either be eaten in bowls or that the sauce was thicker but it was good.  They have pineapple and okra in the curry and, of course, a fish head.
