Drinking French

So for Christmas, Elena bought me a book called Drinking  French by David Leobovitz.  While she was home, we did our best to work our way through as many as we can-so many have interesting local fortified wines that are used to crate distinctive aperitives.  I also received a homemade Gin Kit and with that homemade gin have been drinking my most favorite cocktail called the Giny Germain with gin, elderflower liquor, lemon juice and muddled egg white and cucumber.  Google it.  More to come, of course, as Elena has launched a new obsession.
