Charlotte Russe

Yesterday I was able to celebrate with my family a special day where I was honored at my hospital.  We had two parties-one provided by the hospital-and one we had during the celebration. For the one I organized, I had the wonderful folks at Bonpastry make another of the 1000 Things which is called a Charlotte Russe Cake. The Charlotte Russe has liquor-soaked sponge, layers of strawberries and French egg custard and ringed by lady fingers.  Yum.
