I have a New Brunch Location: The Farmer & Seahorse

Chicken and Waffles

On several occasions when I had to pick a place for a birthday or shower, I picked the Farmer and the Seahorse but this past month I have become a bit obsessed with weekend brunch there. While there are many reasons, my top few are: The outdoor area is light and bright but shaded; the wait staff are really, really, really friendly; they have live music that is soothing; they make amazing coffee; they have a mimosa kit and the food is delicious. While I have tried many of the items on the menu, my favorite is and will always be some kind of eggs benedict and they vary what they service but they typically have a seafood option (lobster/crab) and also short rib. This past time my friend had the bacon and avocado benedict.

The ownership has moved from Brian Malarky who I have long admired which is why I went my first time to Sam Deckman. From my experience, the food was amazing and is amazing so it is difficult for me to feel the change. Want to have a perfectly lovely weekend brunch (or weekend lunch and even a few nights a week a happy hour) I think Farmer and the Seahorse is a fabulous choice.
