Today I post on the Giant Syrian Tomato.  These are a variety that seems to grow more often in the eastern part of the US, but I ordered plants and grew them in pots out back this year. Their claim to fame is that they are large, juicy and have few seeds.  Are they good?  Yes.  I do not know if they rank as one of the 1000 best foods I have ever eaten (sorry, Mimi) but a good homegrown tomato? That is one of the top 5 foods of all times.
