The Glorious Yodel

Our most favorite restaurant in town is Juniper and Ivy. It has been the restaurant of graduations, of birthdays and of going away’s.  The last big event was to celebrate Elena’s graduation of her Master’s Degree and her taking her first BIG job working for the Under Secretary for Policy at the Department of Defense.  As per always, the combinations were more delicious than a person can imagine from Seafood Sausage Corndogs, Miso Cookies filled with chicken liver mousse, Yellowtail Tostados, Hawaiian Kampachi Crudo and Bone Marrow with Egg.  Nothing, however, and I mean NOTHING is as good as a yodel.  We have had so many varieties of yodels over the years-white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate filled with raspberries and peanut butter and salted caramel.  Each comes frozen, covered with hot chocolate to melt the curs and each melts in your mouth.  Thank you, Richard Blais for brining us Juniper and Ivy and for creating the Yodel.
